Wearing Fall in Florida (a.k.a. how not to melt)

Happy Friday!! Hope you all had a fun and stress-free week (I know, I'm being pretty hopeful). I just ended my third week of my last year of college--the real world is creeping up on me, I can smell it. Even though fall is just around the corner, it's burning up here in Gator-ville and walking across campus in this heat is dreadful. It was probably about 100 degrees out when I took these pictures (I'm surprised my sweat-stache didn't come out in the photos). It can be hard to incorporate fall fashion into your wardrobe when it feels like you're in a pit of a volcano every time you walk outside. I've found it hard to find a cute outfit for school, especially since I love fall fashion. Wearing sweaters and boots are out of the question for now, but there are a few pieces you can start wearing.

I looove these pair of jeans. They're the comfiest pair I have and look cute with pretty much everything. And since these jeans are made of thin material my legs didn't feel like they were melting. I paired these jeans with a striped crop top. Since my legs were covered, I have to let my upper half breathe a bit and a crop top does just that. To throw in some fall, I'm wearing my favorite pair of booties. These booties have endured long nights of dancing and long walks across campus, they're so comfy. For accessories, I stacked on all my Alex and Ani jewels (love them!) and added my go-to watch that I've had for ages. Also, a pair of black sunglasses adds a touch of chic to your look. Add a book bag and you can take this outfit to school.

Us gals in Florida have to take baby steps when transitioning to fall, but we still look fab doing it!

Hope you guys have a lovely weekend & thanks for reading!
