Plaid Accents

Plaid is probably one of the most popular trends in fall. I like wearing plaid, but I also like seeing how I can wear it in different ways. Tying a plaid shirt around your waist is a 90s' trend that's found its place in the fashion world again. Lately, plaid has been making its way onto shoes. I'm obsessed with these Saint Laurent's Plaid-Print Wool Skate Sneakers, but I am a college student (a.k.a. poor) so I have to find cheaper alternatives.

These are my short pair of overalls and I love wearing them with my chucks. Since it was a pretty warm day in Florida, per usual, these overalls were appropriate. Adding the plaid shirt tied my entire outfit together...get it? This type of print can be overwhelming when there's so much of it, so I like to wear it in small doses.

In other news, I decided to be Super Tina for Halloween! I ordered my pink leotard online but I'm still on the hunt for those pink leg warmers.

  2. Hey Alyssa! You are super cute girl! Not sure if I told you that my daughter is in college too. She is a freshman at UF in Gainsville, FL. I love how you paired the overalls with your chucks (didn't know they were called chucks but now I do:-)) And yes, I love plaid very much, a very much wanted pattern for the fall. Continue enjoying your college life and stay safe! And of course, keep blogging! You are doing an awesome job. PS. Thanks for the message you left on my blog:-) xoxo, Jeannette
